Does wearing a prison jumpsuit/uniform feel humiliating? Yes it was absolutely humiliating and degrading. It just sucks when you’re in a courtroom full of people in front of the public and you’re wearing a jumpsuit with INMATE on the back and in hand cuffs and leg cuffs! The use of ID numbers was a way to make prisoners feel anonymous. Each prisoner had to be called only by his ID number and could only refer to himself and the other prisoners by number. |
